First established in 2000, the Alley Cats blend a playful approach to a cappella harmony with a heartfelt homage to late twentieth century vocal tradition. The repertoire of these finicky felines spans jazz, bebop, Motown, and standards, all getting the unique Alley Cat treatment. Performances at various venues throughout the Northeast have included: The Black Duck Restaurant and Lounge in New York City, Tall Ships Festival in Newport, RI, Cancer Survivors Day at Roger Williams Park Casino, The New York Yacht Club, and occasionally they can be heard sharing the stage with Swinglane Orchestra. From private performances to community events to the concert stage, a saucy mix of musical styles makes the Alley Cats a captivating harmonic treat.
